OF THE 30 BEST CEOS OF THE YEAR 2021

The Silicon Review distinguished Steve Liang – Real Estate IQ’s co-founder and CEO, and national speaker – as one of the 30 best CEOs of the year 2021. The prestigious magazine specialized in business and technology highlighted Real Estate IQ’s contribution to serving the real estate investment community. “By offering a unique solution that creates deal flow for real estate professionals, the company has built successful entrepreneurs who are doing well in business and working for the community for its greater good”, congratulated.

This recognition is particularly significant for us since it came after a challenging year. As many companies were, Real Estate IQ was also struck by the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, this mention became a reward for Steve Liang’s hard work to lead a multinational company through hard times successfully. He had to cut off 30% payroll and asked his employees whether they’d prefer to let go 30 percent of the workforce or take all a 30 percent pay cut and weather the storm together. “Thankfully, everyone decided to weather the storm together,” he recalled.

This experience united us, and everyone gave their 200 percent to address what was blocking us. Subsequently, we experienced record sales; 56 percent of growth on the third-quarter revenue.

Because of this mention, both co-founders – Steve Liang and Juan Carlos Cruz – gave an interview to The Silicon Review, where they shared some insights on their business philosophy.
